Men of the Trees in Western Australia is a not-for-profit, Incorporated Association, founded in 1979. Since that time it has planted more than 13 million seedlings to prevent the spread of deserts, erosion and salinity. Members, sponsors, donors, community and corporate volunteers have been part of making a difference in Western Australia. You too can be involved in this great work.
Project 100K - The Greening Challenge
Men of the Trees @ St Barbe Grove in Hazelmere are about to embark on something HUGE. We will attempt a world record on 25th July 2014, by planting 100,000 plants in 1 hour at Whiteman Park! BUT we desperately need your help.
We will be growing the seedlings onsite and need volunteers on a regular basis to help us grow over 100,000 seedlings in cell trays before July 2014. Can you spare a few hours to help? Preferably Tuesday or Thursday afternoons but we will take any spare hours you have.
Just turn up and help or call Adele for more details - 9250 4493. If you can't help before Christmas we would love to see you in January, and perhaps we can open Saturdays and evenings if this suits better.
The more the merrier so please pass the word on and bring a friend. Contact Paula Galvin for more details: email@example.com

MOTT takes a leadership role by bringing people together from all walks of life, to grow trees and shrubs and to undertake revegetation activities with the community, partners and volunteers to improve the health, productivity and sustainability of degraded land.
We are respected nationally for promoting an awareness of the role of trees in the environment and thereby their contribution to the welfare of mankind.
We are about TREES, FOOD AND COMMUNITIES.
